Q: What sanitary practices are in place in your kitchen?
A: We have always operated with the best practices for food safety and sanitation. In light of Covid-19 we are individually wrapping and packaging all cookies. We are wearing masks and keeping the kitchen clean and disinfected.
Q: What if I place a custom order but have to cancel due to Covid?
A: We understand that life happens, more now than ever. If you need to cancel an order due to a Covid-related situation, we require a minimum seven days notice and you will receive credit towards another future order.
Q: Are you offering in-person classes right now?
A: We are not offering in-person classes at the moment, however Renee is available for Zoom classes. For local participants cookie kits are also available. Pick up your cookies and icing before tuning into Zoom.
Q: What's the scoop on custom cookie orders?
A: Cookies are made to order and require at least one month's notice to reserve a date. The more event details you can provide – and the sooner you can provide them – the better. Cookies stay fresh for up to 3 weeks.
Q: What happens if cookies in my order arrive broken?
A: Although cookies are tightly packaged in multiple layers of bubble wrap, Sweet Cheeks by Renee is not responsible for any damages made by the postal service.
Q: How far in advance should I place my order?
A: Please get in touch as soon as your date and location are confirmed. We're happy to work with you to perfect the timing of your order, but time is of the essence.
Q: How will I receive class access after purchasing?
A: After your purchase has been processed, you will receive an email with instructions on downloading a PDF. When opened, that PDF will link out the Facebook group for your specific class. You need to request to join the group and once we have accepted your request you will find the class video(s) in the group.
Q: How long will I have access to the classes?
A: You will have lifetime access to the classes that live in the Facebook groups.
Q: What if I have questions about the class?
A: Don’t hesitate to email email@example.com and we will get back to you in a timely manner.
Q: What recipes do you use?
A: I use my own perfected sugar cookie and icing recipe, both of which are available for purchase HERE.
Q: Did you go to culinary school?
A: Nope! I am 100% self taught. After a few collegiate stints in bakeries, I attended YouTube University (before it was a real thing) and taught myself piping after long days at my full-time job.
Q: What is your favorite cookie cutter set?
A: My go-to will always be the hexagonal cookie cutter set in the shop; it's the most versatile.
